May I use GlassCast3 on the top of GlassCast 10/50 to have a flat coating?

The hardness is pretty similar.  The use of GlassCast 3 on top of 50 is primarily done for the surface smoothness and hence the ability to pour it without further finishing.

Great cheers Warren.  It's definitely a lot harder now, just ordered a load of fine papers to get it to a nice finish!

     Yes you can. It is commonly done in the way you describe for exactly the reason of a smoother floor. You can either pour the GlassCast 3 when the previous resin layer has cured to the firm but tacky....
