Hello,
is there a shelf life for release agents and wax additive solution MW. I'm having some problems with this products. Recently I used a release agent I've opened some time ago (1 year) and it didn't work very well.

I've also a wax additive I bought 6 months ago. I opened it only now and the product became solid.

Is there a shelf life for this products? A best use date after opening?

EasyLease has a shelf life of one year max.  The more you open the bottle, the more it is likely to reduce the life span as the mixture is hydroscopic so will absorb moisture from the air which will degrade its performance. Certainly over a year I would be considering a replacement.

The wax additive sounds like it has dried out. - try and ensure the lid is fully sealed after use.  You may find it is just on the surface in which case break the wax up and remix and you might be able to use it if there are no bits in it.

the wax additive was already dried out when I opened the bottle the first time. When I'm shaking it, I don't hear anything liquid in there...

Very strange that the wax solution has dried out. I've got a bottle of wax solution here that is about 7 years old, I still use it every now and then. Using it today in fact!

Sounds like maybe the lid was loose?
