Using glasscast over underfloor heating in a bathroom?

You could do 2 pours to help with the pinhole issue or skim a very thin layer over the surface to fill in the pinholes then go with a main pour afterwards. In fact, this time of year, if it is working, switch it on during the curing process and it will help speed up the cure. With an uneven slab, you will need to take into account how uneven it is in your resin calculations. You may need more resin than a perfectly flat floor so that you don't end up with one end of the room with no resin after it has self leveled. GlassCast will to an extent be slippery when wet - all gloss surfaces will be. However in our and our customers experience, it is no more slippery than the commonly used gloss ceramic tiles found in many bathrooms and kitchens these days. Thanks for your earlier answer - having now done our self levelling setcrete layer I have another question... We decided we liked the finish of the setcrete as it is, so we were not going to do the whole penny floor thing, however, we have noticed lots of little pinholes in the concrete surface they're all really small but because the floor is likely to get wet we need to fill them. Could we use glasscast directly on top of the setcrete and will the pinholes below cause pinholes in the Glasscast?

H Group: Forum Members Posts: 3, Visits: 6	I'm thinking of doing a version of the penny floor in a small bathroom area, using washers rather than pennies. The existing floor is poured concrete with underfloor heating. The concrete is quite rough and ready and a bit uneven. There'll be a shower cubicle, so every chance of the floor getting wet. So, can i use Glasscast over an underfloor heated concrete floor and will the finished surface be too slippery for a bathroom floor? Many thanks
