I’m looking to make a roughly 50cm x 20cm gently curving shape, between two smooth moulds (male & female). The lay-up would be something like 6 x 200gm carbon (or 2 X 200gm on each surface, 2 x 400gm in middle of lay-up) and I’m hoping to use resin infusion (epoxy). The tutorials I’ve seen all seem to use peel ply, ‘soric foam’ etc to aid the resin flow. I’m hoping to produce two finished sides in ‘one hit’, with the resin simply flowing through the carbon cloth. Any comments on my chances of success would be appreciated. Thanks.
