Using HIPS for mould making. Which release agent(s) to use ?

Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 93	I want to use a mould 3D printed in HIPS high impact polysyrene. The surface of the mould will be sanded. Which of the release agents is most compatible with HIPS ? I would like to use FusionFix GP to hold down the CF while I arrange it. many thanks.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 93	If I don't care about surface finish as it would be internal and not functionally important, would it be possible to not treat the surface with marbocote or similar ? I would either use limonene or heat (perhaps even acetone for abs) to remove the plastic once the CF is cured. What plastic do you print with and do I need to print solid ? Thanks for all the help.
