Just completed my first ever carbon fibre part at 2am and I'm so happy I had to tell someone!!!! It ain't perfect but for for a first time resin infusion I'm more than ecstatic with the results! Thank you so much everyone at ec for your awesome products customer service tech advice videos and sharing the knowledge. Thanks to everyone on this forum I've learnt alot from all the questions you all ask and learnt a lot from the mistakes that people made so I don't make them :-)

Glad to hear your first project has gone well.

It really is quite satisfying to pull out that first part and even if it isn't perfect you can usually see how good it can be with a bit more practice.

Good luck with future projects and if you need any help correcting the defects for next time then ask away as there is a wealth of experience on this forum with resin infusion.

I just made a 10 inch by 10 inch square as a test I made with a 2\2 twill 200g surface, 2 300g sandwich layers with weaves running a 45° angles I forget what that's called and finally another 200g for a backing layer, its light has a bit of flex and is very strong. . going to make a few tea cup coasters for the "beys" I feel bad not doing a thankyou to davro I'm a YouTube subscriber already watched pretty much all your cf videos your car is sick brahhh. I like that bonnet with the tow weave it looks proper narley. Thankyou warren and matt I have absolutely no doubt I'll be contacting you both for your valuable expertise in the field of composites I've got a lot of learning to do.
