Hi all first post here so hope i'm not posting in the wrong section, i've got a part i want to take a mould of to make carbon fibre copies of it. As you can see it's quite an awkward shape, how would you lot take a mould? 2 piece split mould if so would you go down the middle?

It would be ok done with two pieces of fabric then put the cut down in the tight corner.

you would need to fix the cloth with something (spraytack)or use the pro carbon to get a sharp cut , then getting this to sit would require the cloth to be warmed and softened with a hair dryer/ heat gun.

it's not easy to do but gets nice results.
