Hi all,

This is my very first post...

I'm thinking of buying an autoclave. I have only received a few pictures so far.
It's 2 meter long  and 0.9 m i diameter (inside). It's probably only approved for 3 bar.
50 years old and used for vacuum and steam threatment at a yarn factory, I think...
I will probably have to redo a lot to make it work.
Price: ~£500. What do you think.

PS I have no experience of prepreg and autoclave so far ;-)

Best Regards,
Magnus

I managed to purchase a couple of laboratory ovens of ebay and with a decent vac pump its great for curing composites.
Have a good look on the easy composite you tube videos and through the projects on here, then start pricing up all the materials and consumables you need, its not a cheap hobby Smile
