Tapered motocross fork mould??

Group: Forum Members Posts: 54, Visits: 916	Im looking to make some fork covers/protectors like in the image below but my forks have a slight taper on them. I was thinking on using the pvc pipe trick to make some carbon tubes but I'm not sure how well they would fit on a tapered fork. Any ideas on what i can do? Thanks

Group: Forum Members Posts: 54, Visits: 916	Fasta (28/03/2015) If you make tube the same size as the smaller end of your forks and then have a single longitudinal cut along it then it should likely snap fit on the tapered fork ok?? Yeah i think thats the way to go, if it doesn't work out i will have to make a tapered plug and mould from that. Does any one have a link to a thread where they make carbon tube using PVC pipe? I cant seem to find it now
