Hi all,
the aim of this work is to obtain a light, confortable and cool kiteboard
Instead of use an usual PU or wood core I tryed to generate something similar to honeycomb.
At first it needs a lot of meters of carbon's tube.. so you have a roll a lot..
For the top and bottom sheet I chose the carbonkevlar for its elongations properties.
I show you some picture and a quick video with the building process.

Beautiful job !
What did you use for the rails / edges ? On the bow and tail it seems you used filler, is it right ? What about the rails ?
Thanks in advance !

I used epoxy resin charged with milled carbon fiber

No, there are two small pieces of balsa wood. When laminated they given to the tails a right amount of rigidity.

Looks awesome!
The core must have taken hours to get perfectly right!

At first I didn't realize what the core was! That's gotta be the coolest use for carbon fiber tube I have seen so far. So nasty!
