Hi everybody!
I am a newbie who am a team member of univetsity solar car project. I'm responsible for composite part production. We are planning to make inner stiff chasis from sandwich panels(closed cell pvc- 2x2 twill carbon fibre sandwich). We would like to use wooden mould. However I have no experience about wooden mould surface finishing. Is gelcoat coating enough basically or have I use different finishing materials?
Regards.
