I'm interested in skinning shapes that requiring 2 or more pieces of fabric.
Consider a closed volume, like a
3d oval shape
, obviously more than one piece is required.
1. Do I apply the epoxy base coat in stages, because of limited time the coat is tacky? (ie apply base coat and skin the first half, and then do the same to the second?
2. Any tricks to get the seam neat?
3. What would be the procedure for putting a 10mm strip along the seam? Hair spray to make the strip rigid then more base coat on seam?
Many thanks,
Adam
