Hey guys

I'm wanting to make some resin infused carbon fibre brake ducts.. these will be the backing plate as well.. these will have a airflow from the the front bumper flowing through them at most times..

I'm wanting to know if standard (3k) carbon fibre sheet can be use with the standard infusion process or will i need something else or do i need to do a wet lay up style.. the current backing plates are made out of tin..??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

Cheers

Standard woven fabrics will be fine for making the duct and can be used with infusion no problem.
