Thanks for the reply Warren, those details are not important i guess, I could flush the swage line on the sides of the bonnet with filleting wax?? And also trim the front lip so it's a slim edge like on most modern bonnets & also fill the gap between the inner & outer skins with wax again when it comes to doing the inner frame

It depends how important it is to accurately replicate the bonnet edges where it wont be seen once bonnet is closed.

If not important, dont worry about swage line and end the bonnet edge so that no mechanical lock can occur.  If the swage is important, then you want a 3 part mould to prevent locking. Ie the sides of the bonnet have a small detachable moulding you bolt in. You then laminate within it, let it cure, unbolt the sides and the completed bonnet will come out then.

The hard part is getting the flange edge precisely in the right place for the moulding process.

Hi guys, I am wanting to make a mould of my bonnet for resin infusion but I am a bit stuck trying to figure out where to position the corrugated sign board for the flages on the front edge, as you can see the front edge of the bonnet curves down then the bottom edge kicks back towards the engine, also the side edges of the bonnet have a recessed swage line which I fear may also make the mould lock to it, any help/advice would be great
