Hi.

is it any idea to connect and bond a carbon tube to a metal joint  strongly?

I want to build a vehicle that is something like bike.
to build the vehicle, I will use some carbon tubes and metal joints.
and I will bond the tube and the joint.

but I don`t know the best way to bond them.

Is it enough strong if I insert the tube into the joint and bond them?
because of shocks and vibration, the connection will be broken in the future?

or should I reinforce the connection after I bond the tube and the joint?and how to do that?

Thanks,

The best way is with either a metal insert that slides closely into the inside of the tube, or a sleeve on the outside.

That way you can then bond over a large surface area which means the loads are spread over a greater area which is ideal way to get a nice strong bond.
