Hi, what is the best release wax available in the UK. Or even worldwide, if its good il buy it!

Im looking for a wax good enough to release infusion parts from uni mould and also good enough that the brush in clear gel coat doesn't fish eye and pool.

Thanks
Hanaldo

You're fighting a losing battle, brushing clear gelcoats just isn't a very viable option. It's a compromise, and the downsides of that compromise are sags, pooling and fish-eyeing.

I can understand not having spray equipment for a hobby, but I would suggest checking out a Preval sprayer. Cheap and easy to use and will spray Glosscoat fine. This way you can spray on a 'dust' coat, allow it to cure to a tack, then spray another coat to full thickness without fisheyes.

OK cool. I do have spray gun set up I use to spray 2k clear coat. Would this gun work?

But I have just bought the preval never seem then before! But looks quick and easy. I guess you just clean out the same as a spray gun

Also what is the maximum time i could leave gloss coat in mould before the infusion?
