A gelcoat or in-mould coating like Duratec?

Watch Easy Composites latest tutorial, the In-Depth Guide to Resin Infusion. They use a black pigment in their epoxy compatible GC50 gelcoat to colour their Kevlar sleds black. You can do the same thing with an in-mould coating like Duratec, and use either an opaque pigment to achieve a solid colour, or a translucent dye to achieve a tinted clear coat over the carbon.

Hi all,

is there any kind of coating you can put on your mould before infusion of carbon fibers so you get nicer finish of the product or even for example if you put red coating you get red product at the end, without damaging yout mould?
