Hi Easy Composites,

I have a Makita 9237CB Sander Polisher that comes with a 180mm polishing pad. Can I buy and use one of your S10 Semi Flexible Backing Plate 150mm and Medium/Soft Blue Polishing Pad to return my wet lay carbon fibre piece back to when it was first cast? It has light scratches that I want to remove.

The backing plate will only work if your polisher has the same fixing arrangement.  Most professional polishing machines will have the right fixing on it.  Some cheaper polishing machines do not.

Your polisher looks the right kind of fixing. The pad has an M14 female thread.
