Dear all,
I have a question regarding the amount of resin required for a project.
A laminate needs to be fabricated using a hand layup procedure.
given material
E glass fabric 6 ply
each ply is 1 mm in thickness
Area = 2500mm^2
Areal weight = 1100 g/m^2
Density = 2.6 g/cm^3
Resin vinyl ester
density = 1.05 g/cm^3
using the above-mentioned values for fiber and resin, how can I determine the amount of resin required to produce a laminate?
