Assuming the nomenclature they have used is pretty typical, that looks like a 3.2mm cell size in a 48kg/m3 weight with a slice thickness of 16mm.

It looks like a slightly thicker paper than I have seen for similarly small cell size nomexs. eg our aerospace nomex in a 3.2 is much lighter in colour and looks to have a thinner paper thickness.  The paper above looks more similar to our 4.8mm nomex which is a thicker paper and hence higher density overall.

I guess the manufacturer should be able to supply you with a datasheet for the basic specification.

Hi
Thanks for following up my post.

Ive attached a copy of the label which should give you the information about the spec. The material was originally ordered for an aerospace customer but they cancelled the programme and I ended up with the material. The bits cut out of the label are just the customer details -nothing technical If it is of interest let me know.

This is my first visit to the forum. I am not involved with the composite industry so recently contacted Easy Composites to ask if they could recommend anywhere that may have an interest in some 5/8" Nomex honeycombe core material, and the guys suggested this forum. In summary the sheets are 8ft*4ft and I have around 27 in total.  Can anyone point me in the direction of a market that may use this type of core?

Hi BWM I own a fibre and yarn recycling company based in Keighley,West Yorkshire and We accept the waste fibres and yarns that are leftover during manufacturing processes i.e Synthetics,Wools,Aramid,meta-aramid and para-aramid fibres such as Polyester, nylon,Wools (various),Carbon Fibre,Kevlar,Twaron,Zylon PBO,conex, nomex etc.
I have sent you a PM 😊
