Hi

I am building a table using scrap ply (bear withme, it will be better than it sounds.)

The table top is a 3/4 inch ply sheet cut to  random shape of approx 8ft x4ft with a central random shaped hole in the centre. (see the hasty sketch attached.)

My questions are , which product would be the best for this application and would it be sufficiently strong across this span at only 19mm thickness?

I would look at the GlassCast 50 Clear Epoxy Casting Resin.  In wood it can be cast up to 25mm per layer.

I would expect it to be pretty strong at that thickness.  You would need to prepare the wood edge with a nice rough key to help with adhesion.
