Hi, at 20 °C and 2% MEKP what could be an expected approximate wait time to get to the B stage "firm but tacky"?
Thanks
Hanaldo

I havent used the Easy Composites pattern coat system, but I do use Scott Bader which will be very similar. I would expect about an hour tops, probably closer to 45 minutes or so for it to reach a tacky stage. If you are a bit early it won't hugely matter, when you're applying wet-on-wet all you are looking to do is let the coating firm up so that it doesn't sag with the second application. 30/40 minutes will be fine.

The ec pattern coat is extremely fast. It depends on the volume you are mixing. Larger volumes will preheat themselves quite a bit, wich will reduce the potlife. I usually only got 5-10min potlife out of the resin, and was able to apply the next coat 20 min after the first one.
