I have lately done my very first infusion of a flat board done on a sheet of glass. Basically it went quite well but on the glass side I got small air voids mostly in the middle and am wondering where they came from. I read through some troubleshooting guides but am not sure what to do next:
- I don't think the resin/hardener will have taken up moisture as I opened new containers.
- I doubt that the glass will be able to leak air.
- I did degas the resin. A proper degassing chamber is still on my to do list but at the moment I was only using a small amount of resin so I was able to use my catch pot for degassing.

The only thing I'm weary about is that obviously the vacuum pump should not be turned off until the resin is fully cured which I did. However, when is the resin fully cured? After reaching the pot life? Or after reaching the demolding time? My resin has a demolding time of 36 hours and I can't imagine leaving the pump on this long, I doubt it would survive that. And I can't post cure the part unfortunately, this resin doesn't need it and the demolding time would still be 8 hours.

What do you advise me for a second time?
