Hi everyone,
This is my current project, It started out as a standard Citroen C2 bonnet which I’ve modified to allow any hot /waste air from the front of the car. The two smaller side ducts are going to have a gurney fitted once complete.
As you can see I’ve painted the buck with 2k filler primer which I’ve flatted off. Would you recommend to either spray the buck with something else ? To give it a better shine / finish ? Or just to polish the mould to get to get that perfect finish ?
Id like to make this from X prepreg which i’d like to try and get that perfect finish straight out of mould if possible.
Thanks for any advice

Or, do what I do and paint the carbon to disguise it :-) This has the effect of stealth and saves a lot of time trying to achieve a perfect carbon finish :-) Unless, of course, you are after the blin...

First off, cool car. Love those thingsI'd personally do both actions you mentioned. Starting with the buck in the same condition you're expecting for your finished product is the best way to set...
