Does anyone know of any software or plugins for software that can take a 3D model and output the stencils for prepreg? I'm working with a complex shape and can't get my head around how to figure out all the little pieces and overlaps. Not to mention, figuring out how to repeat the process efficiently and accurately.

Template it yourself by hand using masking tape
Use cloth if it's really tricky
Your splits for you plies should be fairly evident
Template to shape then +/- on your joints to stagger the plies
