Hi folks,
I made these moulds some time ago from the badly damaged original but haven't got round to laminating a new fuselage. What would be the best lay-up method,
wet lay-up, wet lay-up and vacuum bag it or vacuum infusion?

Cheers, Marty

Looks like a wet lay up. As there is a cut out for the canopy could be a tricky spot.. This area would be very hard to seal up for an infusion due to not having a full flange like what around the rest of the fuse.. How Did you make the moulds? Was it with the Uni mould system from Ez composites?

Hi James,
The moulds were made using epoxy tooling gel coat, epoxy and glass. If I was to vacuum it, I was thinking of bagging it. What do you think?
