Hand lay up does need a bit of skill and practice to get right with cosmetic parts.  It can help to use a bristle roller over the fabric to remove any trapped air from between the fibres.  The bristles get between the fibres lifting out any trapped air that would otherwise be a void.

Greetings!

Would love to know on your experience and insights on the best possible way to get a flat and even finishes on your carbon fiber projects, especially on hand layup process.

Normally what I did was to spray paint on the surfaces till I get rid of it to get an even finishes. Would love to hear out if your method is different than mine.

Thank you for sharing info's in advance!
