Could always use a fire retardent epoxy

Alternatively if you search for a COSH form, or MSDS into epoxy you can find a risk assessment pdf which may contain useful information

I built a oven out of steel sheet metal and then insulated the out side. It is aprox 5 feet long 4 feet deep 3 feet high.

I heat it with a 240 volt space heater the kind most people hang from the ceiling in their shops.

I can get it up to about 250 f. The built in fan circulates the air. I use the guts out of a regular oven heat control. The sensor bulb is in the oven and I put the control outside. I let this oven control turn on or off the heater according to the heat setting I have chosen. I have a little viewing window where I can see another temp guage inside so I know what the temperature really is in there.

I use it all the time and could not live without it any more.

I'm also curious about those risks so it would be nice if someone could give more information Smile

I have built a large oven designed to run at temps of up to 70c,

I am trying to pick a way to heat it, but wanted some advice on the flammability of epoxy resin fumes in an sealed environment, as am a little worried that a fan heaters' glowing element could cause an explosion risk...

I know there's a thread on here with someone using a fan heater in a box, but I'm not sure if he uses for post cure only or also "wet" coating cure (I will be doing both)

Thanks,
James
