Size problems skinning hood 160cm

Hello, I  will do skinning carbon fiber on hood, the problem will be , hood size 2000mm X 1600mm,
Im thinking do in two pieces, but the cut is very difficult . I m prefer do in one piece .
Something idea? The biggest size are 1500mm

You would be best to use a stabilised fabric such as our ProFinish Carbon Fibre 2/2 Twill 3k 210g as it is much easier to cut.  It is easier to make a feature of the join line by doing it in the middle for example. You could add strips of carbon tape as a feature line or as I have seen in a few cases recently, a thicker stripe of a Textreme or Spread tow fabric similar to our Carbon Fibre Spread-Tow 15mm Plain Weave.  That way it looks like it has been done that way by design.
