Alternatively don't forget the "lost core" approach. Using epoxy you could safety have a polystyrene core that you lay up around. Once fully cured, drill the connector hole, pour in acetone to dissolve the polystyrene. Hi @Warren I like that lost core approach a lot ! At the moment, it will save me lots of time ! Thanks !

The premium solution would be to laminate in a 2part mould and insert a bladder before closing the mould. Then inflate the bladder through the connector hole. Sounds like a good idea ! What kind of material do you use for a bladder ? vacuum bag works. silicon bladders are nice for multiple pulls.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 32, Visits: 132	Dear all, I am looking for making a closed carbon container (I will then make a hole in there to glue a connector for a tubing)...what strategy would you suggest ? 2 times 1/2 the container and then glue it with Voodoo glue ? Or the entire thing without one of the sides that will be glued afterwards ? Thanks for your help !
