Dear all,

I am looking for making a closed carbon container (I will then make a hole in there to glue a connector for a tubing)...what strategy would you suggest ? 2 times 1/2 the container and then glue it with Voodoo glue ? Or the entire thing without one of the sides that will be glued afterwards ?

Thanks for your help !

I have seen people use release coated inner tubes, hot melt sealed or glued DIY vacuum bag which can be inserted by the hole and inflated to provide pressure.

Alternatively don't forget the "lost core" approach. Using epoxy you could safety have a polystyrene core that you lay up around.  Once fully cured, drill the connector hole, pour in acetone to dissolve the polystyrene.

Hi @Warren

I like that lost core approach a lot ! At the moment, it will save me lots of time ! Thanks !
