Hi all,Just a quick one.I infused some small items recently, approx 300mm x 150mm with:650g 2 twil (mould surface)3 layers of 200 unidirectionalThen top layer of 450 2 I then added peel ply and infusion mesh. The top surface just about wetted out, but the mould surface didn’t wet at all. Is there a particular problem I’m having or is there perhaps a way to slow the resin flow to allow it to saturate all layers? Many thanks,Bill

Cut the infusion mesh short of the end of the fabric and pull the vacuum through a layer of peel ply underneath the vacuum line as a resin break. this way you force the resin to flow through the ply stack vertically.
Uni carbon is always a bit tricky to infuse as it is so compact, but i successfully infused thicker laminates without problems in the past.
