hi guys please help me out, im trying to skin the outer casing of my headlight, it was chrome and i sanded it down to raw steel, i also used a dremel to score it all over, when i laid my 1st black base coat i could see it would run off and rather then being pure black you could still see the metal shining through, (not too obvious) but the epoxy was a bit transparent, anyway when i reached B stage of tack i tried laying the carbon but it simply would not stick, i ended up blasting it with a bit of adhesive what helped and it actually stuck down pretty good, my concern is now when its time to put the 1st coat of epoxy will it adhere to the headlight and bascoat underneath or will it just come away, if it is to come away could you please give me some advice on how to avoid this in future thank you and your help is much appreciated.
