It depends what the mould is made from. However you could paint resin on both surfaces, clamp the mould together to seal it, allow to cure then clean up any flash or over spill. The two parts would then be bonded together and you can sand and polish the join line area so there is virtually an invisible join. You can then use it as a one piece mould. I would still recommend envelope bagging to be on the safe side and to give you plenty of bag to work into the deep recess of the mould.
