Thanks for reply
I won’t be drilling all the way through. It will be a blind hole.
So if the project is 25mm thick I’m thinking of drilling to 20mm then maybe now I’m thinking of drilling 8.2mm blind holes and dropping in some 8mm stud and using a bit of resin to set it in the holes. I could then place the legs over the studs and use nuts to secure the legs

I want to fix legs to a resin table which needs fixing directly into the resin approx 25mm thick. What’s the best way to do this? Don’t want to crack it. This project has cost a lot as I’ve used 10kg of glasscast 50. Can it be tapped as well? Or maybe just drilled and fit a threaded bush to screw some bolts into. Any advice greatly appreciated

you can drill and tap, but be aware that this is a bolt in plastic and it needs to be designed accordingly to be strong enough.

drilling and taping is not a problem, just drilled 134 holes into my last project. I usually center punch, then drill with a wood drill bit.

I don't think this will be the case but be VERY careful when you drill all the way through as i once cracked a couple of cast parts when exiting. So in that case firmly clamp a sacrificial piece of wood on the opposite of the hole. And make sure the resin is properly cured and not in a brittle stage.

all of the above should work, but you'll have to take your time and be very carefull...
What I would highly recommend you is trying it on a scrap piece before or if you still have some resin left, make a little piece of cured resin you can try some things on before trying it on your table
