Drilling the resin

I want to fix legs to a resin table which needs fixing directly into the resin approx 25mm thick.
What’s the best way to do this? Don’t want to crack it. This project has cost a lot as I’ve used 10kg of glasscast 50.
Can it be tapped as well? Or maybe just drilled and fit a threaded bush to screw some bolts into.
Any advice greatly appreciated

Thanks for reply
I won’t be drilling all the way through. It will be a blind hole.
So if the project is 25mm thick I’m thinking of drilling to 20mm then maybe now I’m thinking of drilling 8.2mm blind holes and dropping in some 8mm stud and using a bit of resin to set it in the holes. I could then place the legs over the studs and use nuts to secure the legs
