Thank you for your assessment. Yes, the MTI hose is an expensive solution. However, it could help me with my front fender. For example, I could initiate the infusion over the back of the mold directly into the mounting points after drilling some holes. (2)
In this way, I would not have to fill the screwing points with chopped carbon fiber strands and resin, but could insert tissue and soak the whole component in one go. Connected, however, with the additional costs of 10, - € per component.

Works well but a bit expensive for simple parts

Has anybody ever had experience with MTI-hose here?
Regards
Frank
I use it often and really like it. I even kinda agree with Hanaldo that often times it is not strictly necessary, but sometimes it is just a nice thing to give you a little extra piece of mind.
For complex shapes you have more wiggle room on the placement which can be very advantageous in case you have some race-tracking in some areas, or if you have a mold with small flanges only where you not necessarily have the space to place a resin break as big as you need.

Yep. It's good for helping to get the hang of the infusion process, but if you know what you're doing then theres no need for it.
