Hi everyone i would like to ask some things, which im realy struggling the past couple of days.
1. I found that the correct ratio of fiber/resin is 60/40. Is this something I should try to achieve in every part I make? I also found on this pdf( https://system.eu2.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=59028&c=3937524&h=ed6c113ff018e812d5f3&_xt=.pdf ) at the start of page 10 an equation. Should I calculate my proper amount of resin from this equation?

2. Also i was thinking of putting a 2nd layer of mesh on some tricky spots of my part. Will it be helpful for resin to spread faster?

All in all i have a specific problem. I think I'm putting the correct amount of resin but it will never cover the whole part. So i just add some more resin to my part with a result of a heavier final part. Maybe my pump is not so strong after all but I was thinking that either I'm putting the wrong amount of resin or i can help my resin to flow faster by putting a 2nd layer of mesh.

what's your advice?
sorry for my english if its not right!!!

The fiber volume content of your part will be influenced a lot by factors like fiber type, fabric architecture, fiber orientation of the layer stack, mould complexity and how well you placed/draped fabrics into all the little crevasses, ...
So the 60/40 ratio is quite simpified and there is no point in having a laminate with loads of porosity because you didn't have enough resin.
