Hey guys,

I will probably use high temp resin for a next project. But I wondered if it could be used with infusion process. On EC website, they dont talk about it, and further investigation shows that its viscosity is about 2.5 times the classic infusion resin.

So I had to have a try. And yes, you can infuse it... Here are the results...

SORRY MY CAMERA IS DEAD SO I DONT HAVE PICS. But, there's a drawing i added to this post. You can see my undeniable talent for drawing with Paint BigGrin

30cm*30cm flat panel of cloth , using 2 layers of 200g/sqm 2*2 twill 3K carbon fiber cloth. Then peel ply, then infusion mesh, then vacuum bag, the usual stuff...

It infused in 7 minutes. Dunno if its long or not for such a panel size, never took care of time during my work with classic infusion resin.

Infusion was made using a "Resin Brake" kinda system (see this topic: http://www.talkcomposites.com/140/Resin-Brake Wink.

If it can help you in any way, I'll be happy.
