Hi there
I use pre preg in my autoclave but still suffer sometimes with pin holes and resin pooling on tight radius's etc
I have been looking at the easy preg that EC is selling and wondered if anyone has any experience of this. Also what do you use as a backing layer as when you click the link nothing comes up.

Thanks in advance

I'll give it a go.
I am no expert on prepreg but it would seem to me pooling means you are bridging in that area. When the vacuum is pulled carbon is never going to stretch its fibers from other places in your stack because they are locked down immoveable by the bag pressure.
In the studies that I have made the absence of pin holes in the surface is a combination of autoclave pressure and the lateral movement of the resin under the NON- Perforated  release film as it flows out into the breather through the edges.
Yes I know, what no perforated release film. Apparently a little heavier but less pinhole problems.
Hope this helps.
