Just curious if a 2 pc A mold could be sealed for lrtm?  I have a part that has a "lock" in it and would need it to be a multi piece mold.  Can it still be sealed?  We are currently hand laying them but looking into lrtm.  I've heard of some people making multi piece A molds and somehow sealing them where they join.  Thanks in advance!

Yeh, you can either build a sealing channel into the mould flanges when making the mould which you then custom make a gasket for, or just use tacky tape in the groove to seal.

Otherwise, automotive RTV silicone gasket works very well and doesn't need any forethought, but makes a bit of a mess that needs cleaning up between pulls. Or you can just envelope bag the entire mould.

Thanks! I’m assuming the seal channel needs to be inside of the flange towards the part where it bolts together so it can seal the seam?
