Hi all,

I  would like to fabricate small connnectors in carbone...I need tubes of 6 and 8 mm diameter that make a 90 angle...is that easy/possible ? Or is there a way to get straight carbone tubes and bend them ?

Thanks !

Look at RC and Drone supply sites. They do various tube connectors, but they aren't cheep and mostly not made from carbon. Carbon connectors seem to be around £40 each!

You can't bend carbon tubes :-)

You could potentially buy straight tubes and do a mitre joint on them, then bond them together with epoxy and some loose carbon strands.

But it sort of depends what you're using them for and how strong they need to be, tolerances etc. Those are pretty small tubes, so it would also be quite fiddly without a jig to hold the tubes while you bonded them.
