A co-worker of mine once repaired a badminton racket for our sales manager, wich played badminton at a fairly high level. While it worked fine as a structual repair, our sales manager didn't use it any more, because the balance and dynamic behaviour was now far off. So badminton rackets are one of these products I consider unrepairable.

The balance issues are why they are often not repaired as Okemont says.  However technically it can be physically repaired in a similar way to a tube repair, although with having to remove and restring it is a lot of effort for these days what is usually a cheap imported product.
