Ok so as many I got inspired by the recent video I watched on how they created a carbon fiber bonnet with what looked like an oem bonnet. Ok now yea simple as easy peezy. What I would like to do is create a same thing but with my oem fender now I just can’t wrap my head around how would I get the shape on where the bolts go. Should it be a 1 piece or 2 piece mold? Again I want to use exact same method gentleman used on the video. Thanks talkC community.....2012 DODGE CHALLENGER fenders

Ultimately it depends how much the fixing lip folds over.  You have to imagine trying to demould the finished part from the mould.  You don't want mechanical locking of the part in the mould.  If it looks like that will occur, then you may well need a 2 part mould  to ensure mechanical locking does not occur.

Do you think there will ever be a demo video? What if someone payed you to do a demo video on a fender? Just saying because you seem to have an explosive answer for every question and I’m like wow He’s the guy! Lastly for a fender would you need same thickness as bonnet I mean layers?

The techniques covered between the bonnet video and the video for making a split mould are everything you need to know.

A fender shouldn't need to be as thick as a bonnet, they tend to be geometrically much stiffer by design so can get away with being thinner. Provided there are no minimum thickness regulations stated by the road authority where you are, then you can probably get away with making carbon fenders the same thickness as your original fenders (which is generally around 1-1.5mm). Always a good idea to make the mounting areas a little sturdier, so 2-2.5mm at the fastening points. I'm not overly familiar with the 2012 Challengers, but I would hazard a guess that they aren't using the fenders as part of the crash structure, so there shouldn't be any tricks there - should be straight forward enough.

Most non-closure panels are single skin to start with.  Only closure panels need double skins.
