Some fabrics have special coatings for certain applications and almost all carbon fibre will have a sizing added to the fibre during manufacture. Some fabrics have special coatings for certain applications and almost all carbon fibre will have a sizing added to the fibre during manufacture. I mean surface treatment like oxygen nitrogen plasma, etching by HNO3 acid on bare carbon fibres. We need such kind of treated fibres.
