Group: Forum Members Posts: 90, Visits: 634	Iv just put down a few coats of xcr resin but the surface is full of tiny pinholes, like it' not a few is thousands of them.. any idears on why?

If you have that much air entrapped then maybe the temperature was too low and/or you were too aggressive with the mixing. We would not normally expect that many pinholes. Have you got some photos...

The resin was cold and quite thick to mix, I didn' think you needed a heat un with the xcr resin tho? I' going to sand and apply another few coats tonight and I'll warm the resin to see if that solve...

Whilst you shouldn't need to necessarily heat gun/blow torch - if it is cool, it might help the situation.
