Hello, first of all thank you for this forum I hope I can find my answer here
I have a bicycle seat post made of carbon with a head of aluminium (photo on attach).
I will cut the carbon on the top to lower it size and need to re-glue the aluminium part to the seatpost. I was thinking on buying the Permabond ET500 but on the description I have noticed that they also recommend the VuduGlu VM100 that don't really need so much preparation and possible a better bond. Wich one do you recommend, or other one?
The idea is to keep it 100% safe because I will ride on top of it and it should not fail under any way of stress!! Thank you!

They will both work, but my choice would be the Vuduglu - I love methacrylate adhesives for composite bonding. Just don't cut corners on the prep. You gotta clean, abrade, and clean again. The more.....

The adhesive i would pick for this application would be the VM100 Black 10min Methacrylate Adhesive.

as hanaldo says preparation is key here, make sure everything is abraded properly and cleaned with acetone properly.
