Good morning composite people!
I'm looking at making a mould from a wooden paddle. I've got epoxy mould putty etc aplenty but can you advise on how best to prepare the surface of the wooden paddle?

Depending on the surface treatment of the wooden oar, you may only need to apply a good number of layers of release wax. Certainly if the wooden oar is varnished/laquered with a high Gloss then 5- 7....
