Hi there,

I'm currently making a mould for a mask consisting of a silicone one piece mould with a 2 part fiberglass jacket.  I have some Cil release for releasing the silicone from the model.  The fiberglass jacket mould will be made in two halves and will meet at the join and finish with a lip which I can bolt together.  I am wondering which kind of release agent I should use on the first half of the fiberglass jacket so it doesn't stick to the lip of the second half. I am making the mould by wet lay up laminating technique.  It doesn't seem to get very hot when it cures so would this wax be suitable to use on its own: https://www.easycomposites.co.uk/number-8-mould-release-wax or would this PVA be preferable: https://www.easycomposites.co.uk/pva-mould-release-agent  I am on a budget so would prefer not to have to buy both!

Thank you
