That doesn't look like it would release if on a board as a one piece mould.
May have to be a split mould?

One piece mould would be nice and easy though. You should blank off the smaller open end and mould right across this area.

I want to make a mould of these 2 repaired end caps from carbon, i never did a shape like this deep and would like to know what is the best way to go?

Put them flat on a plate and mould or maybe a 2 piece?
